Reminder - Preliminary Outline and Thesis Statement due TOMORROW

Essential Question:
Why should you have an understanding of an effective oral presentation?
Key Questions:
What are advanced features of PowerPoint? What is slide design? Why should all slides contain the same design? What are custom animations and slide transistions? Why should you use custom animations and slide transistions? When and why should you use graphics, charts, and other visuals? What is the slide master? Why should you be able to manipulate the slide? How do you manipulate the slide master? What are automatic timings? When and why should you use automatic timings?
Activating Strategy:
Answer EQ and as many KQ as you can from above.
Instructional Strategies and Student Activity:
  • Continue Daily Journal
  • In groups of 2 or 3, students will continue researching for and compiling their oral presentations - due Wednesday, Sept. 17th; Presentations will take place on Thursday, Sept. 18, Friday, Sept. 19, Monday Sept. 22, and Tuesday, Sept 23.
