Why should you use Excel to create a spreadsheet?

What is spreadsheet? What is a cell? What is row? What is a column? What is the formula bar? What is an embedded chart?
Activating Strategy:
Fact of the day: Each spreadsheet in an Excel file contains 256 columns and 65,536 rows. How many cells does this equal?

  • Continue Daily Journal
  • Continue Daily Vocabulary; define terms 46-50
  • Complete Excel Project 1 - page 1-69 (Walk and Rock Music 1st Quarter Sales) Due Thursday, September 6 at the end of class
  • Teacher will demonstrate printing procedures
  • Make sure you print correctly; it is part of your grade!
  • Print spreadsheets, staple, and turn in
