Essential Question:
Why should you use MS Powerpoint to create a slide show presentation?
Key Questions:
Identify different document themes. How and why do you use multi-level bullets? What different viewing modes are available? How can you change the slide layout? How do you apply a background style? Why would you use clipart or images in a slide show? What are slide animations and transitions? How do you apply them and why would you want to use them? How do you run a slide show presentation for an audience?
Activating Strategy:
Have you ever given a presentation to an audience and use PowerPoint?
Instructional Strategies and Student Activity:
  • Continue Daily Journal
  • Continue Daily Vocabulary; define terms 61-65
  • Instructor will give a presentation about giving presentations and effective slide shows
  • PowerPoint Project 2 - page 1-50 (Identity Theft)
    • Students will need to add their name to the title slide
    • Print the file "Handouts" style, 6 slides to a page and turn in
  • In the Lab 1 - page (Ear)
    • Students will need to add their name to the title slide
