Essential Question:
How do graphic organizers help you understand a concept?
Key Questions:
What is a graphic organizer?  What are some key terms related to G.O.'s?  How do you create a G.O.?
Activating Strategy:
Ask students where and when they have created or used a graphic organizer.
Instructional Strategies and Student Activity:
  • Continue Daily Journal
  • Continue Daily Vocabulary; define terms 6-10
  • Students will complete Pretest
  • Turn in FBLA Membership and Dues
  • Begin Graphic Organizer
    • Center bubble is your name
    • 1 bubble about your learning style/environment
    • 1 bubble about your career aspirations
    • 4 other bubble about your family, friends, after school activites, hobbies, interests, etc.
    • Include at least 2 clip art images and a picture of yourself
  • Save as Graphic Organizer Your Name in your About Me folder
  • Print Graphic Organizer when complete and turn in for daily grade
  • Continue Review of Business Documents
